Boeing 767-300ER freighter, operated for Air Canada Cargo as C-GXHM. Converted from passenger configuration, the aircraft supports dedicated freight services carrying parcels, perishables, pharmaceuticals, machinery, and general cargo. Powered by two General Electric CF6-80C2 engines, the 767 freighter offers a useful combination of payload, range, and efficient twin-engine economics. Air Canada re-entered the dedicated freighter market to expand cargo capacity beyond the belly space available on passenger aircraft. C-GXHM allows the carrier to serve high-demand cargo markets directly while using an aircraft type with which Air Canada already had decades of operational experience.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
