Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, operated by Air Canada as C-FVND. The aircraft forms part of Air Canada's modern long-haul fleet and serves intercontinental routes from major hubs including Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. Powered by two General Electric GEnx engines, the 787-9 combines excellent range and fuel efficiency with a composite airframe, large electronically dimmable windows, lower cabin altitude, and quieter interior. Air Canada uses the type to destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and the Middle East. The 787-9 has become a central element of the airline's international expansion and widebody fleet modernization.
