Boeing 777-233LR, operated by Air Canada as C-FNND. The ultra-long-range widebody is part of a small fleet used on some of Air Canada's longest international services from Toronto and Vancouver. Powered by two General Electric GE90-110B engines, the 777-200LR combines exceptional range with substantial passenger and cargo capacity. Aircraft such as C-FNND have served distant destinations in Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and other long-haul markets. The type's range gives Air Canada considerable flexibility for nonstop intercontinental flying, while its commonality with the larger 777-300ER simplifies crew training, maintenance, and fleet operations.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection. Standard varients have a range of 4,200 nautical miles while Extended Range (ER) variants can fly for 6,600 nautical miles and the Longer Range (LR) variant is the world's longest range airliner capable of flying 7,800 nautical miles. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
