Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, operated by American Airlines as N835AN. The larger Dreamliner provides American with greater passenger and cargo capacity than the 787-8 while retaining excellent fuel efficiency and very long range. Powered by two General Electric GEnx engines, N835AN operates intercontinental routes from hubs including Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, and Philadelphia to destinations across Europe, Asia, South America, and the Pacific. The aircraft features the Dreamliner's composite construction, large electronically dimmable windows, lower cabin altitude, and quiet interior. The 787-9 has become a cornerstone of American's long-term widebody fleet modernization.
