McDonnell Douglas MD-88, operated by Everts Air Cargo as N965CE. Originally built for passenger service, the aircraft joined the Alaska-based cargo specialist for conversion and freight operations. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney JT8D-219 engines, the MD-88 offers useful payload, rugged construction, and the ability to support specialized cargo missions. Everts is known for operating unusual and veteran aircraft in demanding Alaskan conditions, carrying mail, supplies, fuel, and general freight to remote communities. N965CE represents a new cargo role for the once-common Delta-era MD-88, extending the service life of the classic DC-9-derived design.

Gemini's 1:200 scale DC-9 series jetliners have a higher metal content than almost any other 1:200 model. The fuselage features a solid all around seamless construction with pad-printed windows and doors, fine photo-etched antennas and glimmering jewel-cut anti-collision lenses on top and bottom. The solid metal wings feature subtle panel lines and integrated flap track fairings on the underside. The aft fuselage features all-metal tail surfaces and rear mounted engine nacelles with turbo fan details inside. The series covers the early DC-9s and the updated MD-80/90 Series with stretched fuselages and larger wings.
