Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, operated by TUI Airways as G-TUIM. The larger Dreamliner complements TUI's 787-8 fleet on long-haul leisure services from the United Kingdom. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, G-TUIM provides greater passenger capacity and range while retaining the Dreamliner's advanced composite construction, large windows, lower cabin altitude, and improved fuel efficiency. TUI deploys the aircraft to popular vacation destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Florida, and other long-distance markets. The 787 family has allowed the airline to operate nonstop leisure routes economically from several UK regional airports rather than concentrating all long-haul flying at London.
