Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, operated by Thomson Airways as G-TUIA. Named 'Living the Dream,' G-TUIA became the first Boeing 787 delivered to a British airline when it joined Thomson in 2013. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, the aircraft introduced improved fuel efficiency, long range, large windows, lower cabin altitude, and a quieter passenger environment to the leisure carrier's fleet. Thomson, later renamed TUI Airways, used G-TUIA on long-haul holiday routes from the United Kingdom to destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Florida, and Asia. The Dreamliner transformed TUI's long-distance vacation operation.
