Embraer E190AR, operated by Alliance Airlines as VH-UZD. The E190 provides the Australian charter and regional carrier with an efficient jet for fly-in/fly-out mining services, corporate charters, and scheduled passenger operations. Powered by two General Electric CF34-10E engines, VH-UZD combines a comfortable four-abreast cabin with useful range and strong economics. Alliance acquired a substantial fleet of secondhand E190s as it expanded beyond its traditional Fokker aircraft. The type is well suited to Australia's long regional sectors and remote airports, providing greater speed, capacity, and passenger comfort while retaining the flexibility required for specialized contract flying.
