Airbus A321-252NX, serial number 11746, operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as PH-AXA. The aircraft is part of KLM's new-generation narrowbody fleet, introduced to replace aging Boeing 737 aircraft on European routes. Powered by two CFM International LEAP-1A engines, PH-AXA offers substantially lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and quieter operation while providing greater passenger capacity. KLM deploys the A321neo from Amsterdam Schiphol to high-demand destinations throughout Europe. The type marks a major fleet transition for an airline long associated with Boeing narrowbodies and will become increasingly important as KLM modernizes its short and medium haul operation.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
Gemini's 1:200 scale A320 family are constructed almost entirely of diecast metal and are ready to be displayed right out of the box. The seamlessly constructed fuselage features fine photo-etched metal antennas, jewel cut anti-collision lenses and pad-printed windows and doors that do not interrupt the lines of the aircraft. The series covers the original A320 fuselage, the stretched A321 variant and the shorter A319. Each model features solid metal wings with delicate "sharklet" wingtips and fitted with either Pratt & Whitney or CFM International turbo fan engines with detailed fan blades inside.
