Embraer E190AR, serial number 19000115, operated by JetBlue Airways as N323JB. The aircraft joined JetBlue's fleet to serve thinner routes and markets where the carrier's larger Airbus A320s provided too much capacity. Powered by two General Electric CF34-10E engines, N323JB offered a comfortable two-by-two cabin with no middle seats and useful range for domestic and Caribbean services. JetBlue became a major U.S. E190 operator and used the type extensively from Boston and New York. The airline later began replacing its E190 fleet with more efficient Airbus A220-300 aircraft, ending an important chapter in JetBlue's growth.
Designed as a medium-range, narrow-body, twin-jet, the Embraer ERJ 170 launched Embraer's "E-Jet" series and was first flown on February 19th, 2002. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
