Airbus A321-211, serial number 7473, operated by Delta Air Lines as N328DN. The aircraft joined Delta's large A321 fleet for high-capacity domestic services throughout the United States. Powered by two CFM International CFM56-5B engines, N328DN combines efficient narrowbody economics with greater passenger capacity than Delta's A319 and A320 aircraft. Delta deploys the type from major hubs including Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, and New York on busy routes across the country. The conventional A321 fleet became an important bridge between Delta's older narrowbodies and the newer A321neo, providing reliable service and substantial capacity on heavily traveled domestic markets.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
Gemini's 1:200 scale A320 family are constructed almost entirely of diecast metal and are ready to be displayed right out of the box. The seamlessly constructed fuselage features fine photo-etched metal antennas, jewel cut anti-collision lenses and pad-printed windows and doors that do not interrupt the lines of the aircraft. The series covers the original A320 fuselage, the stretched A321 variant and the shorter A319. Each model features solid metal wings with delicate "sharklet" wingtips and fitted with either Pratt & Whitney or CFM International turbo fan engines with detailed fan blades inside.
