RCAF Airbus CC-330 Husky 330002, construction number 1653, is an A330-243 acquired to replace Canada's aging CC-150 Polaris fleet. Formerly operated by Kuwait Airways, it entered Canadian service in 2023 and became the first operational CC-330. Initially configured for strategic passenger and VIP transport, 330002 has carried the Canadian Prime Minister on international missions. The aircraft is part of Canada's broader CC-330 program, which will provide strategic transport, aerial refueling, and aeromedical evacuation capabilities. Its modern A330 platform offers substantially improved range, capacity, efficiency, and reliability compared with the older CC-150 fleet.
