Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, serial number 38613, operated by British Airways as G-ZBJG. The aircraft joined BA's new-generation long-haul fleet as the airline began replacing older Boeing 767 and 747 aircraft. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, G-ZBJG combines excellent fuel efficiency and intercontinental range with the Dreamliner's large windows, lower cabin altitude, and quieter interior. British Airways uses its 787-8s from London Heathrow to destinations throughout North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The aircraft remains active in 2026 and forms part of BA's broader 787 family alongside the larger 787-9 and 787-10.
Designed as a mid-sized, wide-body airliner and constructed out of mostly composite material, the 787 was first flown on December 15th, 2009. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
