Boeing 737-852, serial number 39955, operated by Aeromexico as N957AM. Delivered in 2015, the aircraft joined Aeromexico's 737 fleet for domestic and international services from Mexico City and other bases. Powered by two CFM International CFM56-7B engines, N957AM combines dependable performance, useful range, and efficient narrowbody capacity. It has served routes throughout Mexico as well as destinations in the United States, Caribbean, and Latin America. The aircraft has also carried promotional markings during its career and remains active in 2026, operating alongside Aeromexico's newer Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world. Incredibly, there is a 737 taking off or landing somewhere in the world, on average, every five seconds. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
