Boeing 777-222LRF, construction number 41672, was delivered to Air France as F-GUOC in 2002 for dedicated freighter operations. The aircraft operated long-haul cargo routes from Paris Charles de Gaulle to destinations across North America, Asia, and Europe, transporting high-value and time-sensitive freight. F-GUOC was configured as a full freighter with a reinforced floor, large main deck cargo door, and optimized loading systems. Painted in Air France Cargo livery, it provided reliable service with long range capability and high payload. After years of operation, F-GUOC was eventually retired or sold to secondary operators, marking the end of its career in Air France's 777 cargo fleet.
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection. Standard varients have a range of 4,200 nautical miles while Extended Range (ER) variants can fly for 6,600 nautical miles and the Longer Range (LR) variant is the world's longest range airliner capable of flying 7,800 nautical miles. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
Gemini's 1:200 scale Boeing 777 is a large model in this scale and is constructed almost entirely of solid diecast metal. The wide-body fuselage features a solid all around seamless construction with pad-printed windows and doors, fine photo-etched antennas and glimmering jewel-cut anti-collision lenses on top and bottom. The model is supported on an all metal fixed landing gear with a steerable nose wheel, separately applied landing light lenses and pivoting main gear bogies. The solid metal wings feature accurately replicated flap track fairings and free spinning highly detailed fan blades inside each engine nacelles.
