Akagi-class Aircraft Carrier | | 9.25" | | 1" |
One of the most infamous of the Japanese carriers, Akagi fought at Pearl Harbor and Rabaul before being sunk at Midway.
Please note: Unlike other releases in this series, this particular model ships in a plastic clamshell case only, without a cardboard outer box and without a Japanese language magazine.
Originally laid down as an Amagi-class battlecruiser, the Akgai was converted to an aircraft carrier while under construction and entered service in 1927. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
The Eaglemoss "Warships of the World" range presents detailed, ready-made diecast models of naval warships in 1:1100 scale. To help keep the price down, these items arrive in low-cost, discardable blister type packaging.
This series was originally produced for the Japanese market and so the display stand is written in Japanese. Nevertheless, the beauty and detail of the models speak for themselves - no translation necessary!
Eaglemoss "Warships of the World" diecast models feature:
- Diecast metal construction with some plastic components.
- Pad printed markings and placards that won't fade or peel like decals.
- Presentation display stand.
