The 2nd Cavalry Regiment, also known as the 2nd Dragoons, is an active Stryker infantry and cavalry regiment of the United States Army based at the Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany. Its mission is to provide the 7th Army Training Command with a lethal and agile force capable of rapid deployment throughout the European theater in order to assure allies, deter adversaries, and when ordered, defend the NATO alliance.

The M1134 Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) vehicle is an eight-wheeled armored car of the Stryker armored fighting vehicle family, armed with TOW 2 missiles offering a maximum range of around 4.5km. The two-tube launcher and elevated mast extends 500mm above the vehicle's roofline, and missiles are loaded manually. It is the primary tank destroyer within Stryker brigades, and is operated by a crew of four. Each Stryker Brigade Combat Team contains nine such M1134 vehicles.
