Boeing 747-475, serial number 24896, line number 855, operated by Air New Zealand as ZK-SUH and named "Dunedin." The aircraft was originally delivered new to VARIG as PP-VPI on May 31, 1991. It returned to lessor ILFC as N891LF in August 1994 before joining Air New Zealand on November 7, 1994. ZK-SUH subsequently spent nearly 20 years operating Air New Zealand's flagship long-haul services across the Pacific and to Asia, North America and Europe. It was withdrawn from service on July 16, 2014, ferried to Victorville later that month, and finally scrapped there in October 2016.
