Boeing 727-231, serial number 19565, line number 603, operated by Trans World Airlines as N12308. Built in 1968, the aircraft was delivered to TWA on July 22 and spent nearly three decades with the airline, operating its extensive U.S. domestic network. After leaving TWA, it became 5V-TPB with Transtel Airlines and Air Dabia before joining African Express Airways as 5Y-AXB in January 1999. The veteran 727 subsequently operated in Africa and was photographed at Nairobi in 2000. It was derelict there by 2007 and was eventually scrapped, ending a career stretching from TWA's classic jet era into African operations.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
