Boeing 747-258B, serial number 22254, line number 418, delivered new to El Al Israel Airlines as 4X-AXH on December 21, 1979. Originally a passenger aircraft, it was modified with a large side cargo door in 1992-93 and subsequently operated in convertible passenger/cargo and later freighter roles for El Al Cargo. In July 2006, the veteran Jumbo was sold to Russian freight operator TESIS and re-registered VP-BXC. It was withdrawn from service at Luxembourg in 2008 after TESIS ceased operations. After several years in storage, the aircraft was finally scrapped at Luxembourg in 2014.
