Airbus A310-324, serial number 467, originally operated by Pan American World Airways as N822PA and named "Clipper Victory." Delta Air Lines acquired the aircraft following its purchase of Pan Am's transatlantic assets in 1991, retaining the N822PA registration. Powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4152 engines, it joined Delta's inherited A310 fleet on international services, particularly across the Atlantic from New York. Delta operated both A310-200s and A310-300s but ultimately standardized its long-haul fleet around other types. N822PA was withdrawn as Delta retired the A310 fleet during the mid-1990s, ending the aircraft's relatively brief period with the Atlanta-based carrier.
