Boeing 737-293, serial number 19307, line number 20, operated by AirCal and later American Airlines as N462AC. One of the earliest 737s built, it first flew on April 9, 1968 and was delivered to Air California as N462GB that September. After Air California became AirCal, the aircraft was re-registered N462AC in 1982. It joined American when American acquired AirCal in July 1987, briefly flew with Braniff in 1989, and later went to Airmark Aviation. Withdrawn at Kingman in 1992, it was scrapped in 1994, although sections including the cockpit, wing and tail were preserved at Baltimore/Washington International Airport's observation gallery.
