Airbus A321-271NX, serial number 10437, operated by Delta Air Lines as N501DA. Built at Hamburg using test registration D-AZAA, the aircraft was delivered to Delta on March 23, 2022 and became the airline's first A321neo. N501DA entered revenue service on May 20, 2022, inaugurating Delta's A321neo operations between Boston and San Francisco. Powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1133G-JM geared turbofans, it is configured with 20 First Class and 174 economy-family seats. Fleet number 5001, N501DA launched a major new chapter in Delta's narrowbody modernization, with the A321neo progressively supplementing and replacing older Boeing 757s.
