US Airways painted several of it's aircraft in commemorative retro liveries. These liveries incorporated the look of airlines that had previously been aquired only with US Airways titles. The aircraft were also re-registered with suffixes representative of the original carriers.
A319 #N745VJ was painted in an Allegheny Airlines Heritage livery. Allegheny Airlines was a regional airline that operated out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from 1952 to 1979. It was the forerunner of USAir that was subsequently renamed US Airways.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a shortened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A319 was first flown on August 25th, 1995. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
