Boeing 720-023B, operated as N7536A and closely associated with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Originally an American Airlines aircraft, it was acquired by the Dodgers in 1970 to transport the team between games. The aircraft was famously nicknamed the "Kay O'II," continuing a name used on the team's earlier Convair 440. Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley viewed dedicated air transportation as an important advantage during the demanding baseball season. N7536A carried players, coaches and staff throughout the United States for more than a decade, making it one of the best-known privately operated team aircraft of its era.
Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954.
