Airbus A321-211, serial number 1748, operated by Air Canada as C-GIUB. The aircraft forms part of Air Canada's established A321 fleet and has served high-demand domestic and transborder routes as well as leisure markets. Powered by two CFM International CFM56 turbofan engines, C-GIUB combines useful range with greater passenger capacity than the smaller A319 and A320. The common Airbus flight deck and systems allowed Air Canada to operate the type efficiently alongside its other A320-family aircraft. C-GIUB has remained part of the airline's narrowbody operation while newer Boeing 737 MAX, Airbus A220, and A321XLR aircraft have been introduced.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
