Airbus A321-211, serial number 6763, operated by Air Canada Rouge as C-GYFM. The aircraft joined Air Canada's leisure-oriented Rouge subsidiary for high-density services from Canada to vacation destinations in the United States, Caribbean, Mexico, and other markets. Powered by two CFM International CFM56 engines, the A321 provides greater capacity than the A320 while retaining the family's operating commonality and efficient short and medium haul performance. C-GYFM supports routes with strong leisure demand and has also operated within the broader Air Canada network. The A321 became an important aircraft for Rouge by combining relatively high seating capacity with the flexibility to serve a wide variety of destinations.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
