Boeing 777-367ER, entered service with Cathay Pacific as B-KQV. Delivered in February 2015, the aircraft joined Cathay Pacific's extensive long haul 777 fleet and has operated intercontinental services from Hong Kong to destinations across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia. Configured with First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy seating, the 777-300ER provides excellent capacity and passenger comfort. Powered by two General Electric GE90-115B engines, B-KQV combines exceptional range, payload capability, and reliability and remains part of Cathay Pacific's important long haul Boeing 777 fleet.
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
