Airbus A380-841, serial number 266, entered service with All Nippon Airways as JA383A in 2023. Named 'La,' the aircraft carries an orange Hawaiian sea turtle 'Flying Honu' livery inspired by the Hawaiian sunset and completed ANA's three-aircraft A380 fleet. Powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent 970 engines, JA383A is configured for the carrier's high-demand Tokyo-Honolulu services with First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy seating. Although delivered later than its sister aircraft because of the pandemic-era collapse in international travel, JA383A eventually entered regular service as Hawaii demand recovered. Its arrival completed ANA's distinctive blue, green, and orange Flying Honu trio.
Designed as the world's largest airliner, the double-decker A380 was first flown on April 27th, 2005. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
