Boeing 737 MAX 8 Diecast Model
Boeing, N8701Q

Limited Edition

1:200 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 737 MAX 8   7.75"   7"

Boeing 737 MAX 8, serial number 42554, registered N8701Q, was used by Boeing during development and certification of the 737 MAX family. The MAX 8 combines the familiar 737 airframe with CFM International LEAP-1B engines, advanced winglets, aerodynamic refinements, and updated flight systems to improve range and fuel efficiency. Boeing test aircraft carrying experimental registrations supported performance evaluation, systems development, certification flying, and customer demonstrations before the type entered airline service. N8701Q therefore represents an important part of the 737 MAX development program rather than a normal scheduled airline aircraft, helping establish the operating characteristics of Boeing's new-generation narrowbody.

Boeing 737 MAX 8

The Boeing 737 MAX is an American narrow-body aircraft series being developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes as the fourth generation of the Boeing 737, succeeding the Boeing 737 Next Generation. The first flight was on January 29, 2016. The 737 MAX is based on earlier 737 designs but re-engined with more efficient CFM International LEAP-1B along with aerodynamic improvements, most notably split-tip winglets, and airframe modifications. It is offered in three lengths, the 737 MAX 7, MAX 8 and MAX 9 replacing the 737-700, -800 and -900, typically offering 138 to 220 seats and a 3,515 to 3,825 nmi range.
