Airbus A340-313, serial number 331, entered service with Lufthansa as D-AIGK before later joining Mahan Air as EP-MJF. Built in 2000, the aircraft eventually became part of Mahan Air's long haul fleet, operating international services from Tehran to destinations across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Powered by four CFM International CFM56-5C engines, the A340-300 provides substantial range and widebody passenger capacity without the need for intermediate stops. EP-MJF remains active with Mahan Air in 2026, including regular international services between Tehran and Istanbul.
