Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, entered service with Shanghai Airlines as B-1111. The aircraft joined Shanghai Airlines' widebody fleet and operates domestic and international services from Shanghai to destinations throughout Asia and other long haul markets. The 787-9 provides the airline with excellent range while offering passengers the Dreamliner's larger windows, improved cabin pressure, higher humidity, and modern inflight amenities. Powered by two General Electric GEnx turbofan engines, B-1111 combines strong fuel efficiency with long range capability and supports Shanghai Airlines' expanding widebody operations alongside parent company China Eastern Airlines.
