Boeing 777-39P(ER), operated by China Eastern Airlines as B-2025. The aircraft joined China Eastern's long haul fleet for intercontinental services from Shanghai Pudong to destinations throughout Europe, North America, and other major international markets. Powered by two General Electric GE90-115B engines, the 777-300ER provides the range and capacity required for China Eastern's busiest long distance routes. B-2025 remains active in 2026 and regularly operates major international services, including Shanghai-London, Frankfurt, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Singapore flights, while also appearing on selected high-demand regional routes.
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
