Airbus A380-861, serial number 180, entered service with Etihad Airways as A6-APD in August 2015. The aircraft joined Etihad's flagship A380 fleet with its extraordinary three-room "The Residence," First Apartments, Business Studios, and Economy seating. Powered by four Engine Alliance GP7270 engines, A6-APD operated premier routes from Abu Dhabi to destinations including London, Paris, and New York. After being stored during the pandemic and remaining grounded for several years, A6-APD returned to commercial service in May 2025 and remains active in Etihad's revived A380 operation.
