Airbus A350-941, operated by Japan Airlines as JA16XJ. The aircraft is part of JAL's modern A350-900 fleet, developed around high-capacity domestic services from Tokyo Haneda and other major Japanese airports. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, JA16XJ provides excellent fuel efficiency, lower noise, and improved passenger comfort compared with the older Boeing 777s the type replaced. Its advanced composite structure and modern flight deck also reduce operating and maintenance demands. JAL uses the A350-900 extensively on Japan's busiest trunk routes, where frequent schedules and heavy passenger demand make efficient widebody aircraft particularly valuable.
