Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, operated by China Southern Airlines as B-2725. The aircraft joined China Southern's new-generation long haul fleet as the carrier introduced the Dreamliner on international and high-capacity domestic routes. Powered by two General Electric GEnx engines, B-2725 combines excellent range and fuel efficiency with the 787's advanced composite construction, large windows, lower cabin altitude, and quieter interior. The aircraft has operated from China Southern hubs including Guangzhou to destinations throughout Asia and on longer international services. The 787-8 helped the airline open and sustain routes that benefited from long range capability without the capacity of larger widebodies.
