Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, serial number 64315, entered service with Juneyao Airlines as B-209R in March 2019. The aircraft joined Juneyao's expanding long haul fleet and is especially distinctive for carrying the airline's colorful Chinese Peony special livery. Powered by two General Electric GEnx-1B engines, B-209R combines intercontinental range and excellent fuel efficiency with the Dreamliner's large windows, lower cabin altitude, and quiet interior. Based primarily at Shanghai, the aircraft operates both domestic and international services, including routes to Japan and other Asian destinations. B-209R remains active with Juneyao Airlines in 2026.
