Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, operated by Xiamen Airlines as B-7388. The aircraft joined Xiamen Airlines' expanding long haul fleet as the carrier used the Dreamliner to develop international services from Xiamen and other Chinese gateways. Powered by two General Electric GEnx engines, B-7388 combines excellent intercontinental range and fuel efficiency with the 787's large windows, lower cabin altitude, and quieter passenger environment. The 787-9 provides greater capacity and range than the earlier 787-8 while retaining the same advanced composite construction. B-7388 supports Xiamen Airlines services throughout Asia as well as longer routes to Europe, Australia, and North America.
Designed as a mid-sized, wide-body airliner and constructed out of mostly composite material, the 787 was first flown on December 15th, 2009. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
