Luftwaffe Airbus A350-900 10+02, construction number 526, serves with the Flugbereitschaft BMVg as a long range government and VIP transport. Named "Theodor Heuss" after Germany's first Federal President, the aircraft was formally handed over on March 16, 2023, and transferred from Hamburg to Cologne the following day. Unlike the first German A350, 10+02 was delivered with its complete government cabin, including dedicated VIP, conference, delegation, and communications facilities. The modern A350 provides greater range, reliability, efficiency, and comfort than the A340s it replaced, while supporting worldwide transportation of Germany's senior government officials
