Airbus A350-1041, registered F-WMIL, is an Airbus manufacturer test aircraft associated with development and certification of the A350-1000. The stretched member of the A350 family first flew in 2016 and was designed to provide greater passenger and cargo capacity while retaining the efficiency and long range of the A350 platform. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, the A350-1000 incorporates extensive composite construction, advanced aerodynamics, and six-wheel main landing gear. Aircraft carrying Airbus test registrations such as F-WMIL have supported flight testing, certification, customer demonstrations, and continuing development work rather than normal scheduled airline service.
