Boeing 777-39L(ER), operated by Air China as B-2032. The aircraft joined Air China's long haul Boeing 777-300ER fleet for high-capacity domestic and international services from Beijing. Powered by two General Electric GE90-115B engines, B-2032 combines exceptional range and payload capability with the reliability required for demanding intercontinental operations. The aircraft is especially recognizable for wearing Air China's Star Alliance livery, replacing the carrier's standard color scheme with the alliance's distinctive markings. B-2032 remains active in 2026, operating routes including Beijing-Warsaw as well as high-density domestic services to Guangzhou and Urumqi.
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
