Airbus A350-941, operated by Japan Airlines as JA06XJ. The aircraft joined JAL's expanding A350-900 fleet for high-capacity domestic services within Japan. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, JA06XJ combines advanced composite construction and aerodynamic efficiency with a quiet, comfortable cabin. JAL deploys the A350 primarily from Tokyo Haneda on busy routes to destinations such as Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Okinawa, where the aircraft's widebody capacity is particularly useful. The type was selected to replace JAL's older domestic Boeing 777 fleet and has become one of the airline's principal aircraft for Japan's dense trunk-route passenger market.
