Airbus A350-941, serial number 256, entered service with Hong Kong Airlines as B-LGH in November 2018. The title identifying it as an Air Hong Kong aircraft is incorrect; B-LGH was a Hong Kong Airlines passenger aircraft. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines, it operated regional and long haul routes, including services to Los Angeles. Hong Kong Airlines' financial problems led to its withdrawal in February 2020. After several years away from regular service, the aircraft joined Thai Airways as HS-THT, was named 'Phayao,' and entered commercial service from Bangkok in May 2024, continuing its career with another major Asian carrier.
