Airbus A350-941, operated by Japan Airlines as JA04XJ. The aircraft forms part of JAL's fleet of A350-900 widebodies introduced primarily for high-capacity domestic routes. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, JA04XJ provides lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and a quieter cabin than the older Boeing 777s it helped replace. The aircraft is regularly used from Tokyo Haneda on heavily traveled routes to major Japanese cities, where widebody capacity is valuable despite relatively short flight times. The A350-900 has become a cornerstone of JAL's domestic operation and introduced a new generation of cabin technology and efficiency.
