Airbus A350-941, operated by Japan Airlines as JA02XJ. The aircraft joined JAL's new-generation domestic widebody fleet as the airline introduced the A350-900 to replace aging Boeing 777s on high-capacity routes within Japan. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, JA02XJ combines excellent fuel efficiency and reduced noise with a spacious modern cabin. JAL initially concentrated the type on busy services from Tokyo Haneda to cities including Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Okinawa. The A350-900's efficiency, reliability, and passenger comfort have made it a central part of JAL's domestic fleet modernization and a highly visible aircraft at major Japanese airports.
