Fokker F27 Friendship, registered ZK-BXH, flew for Air New Zealand as part of the carrier's fleet of turboprop regional aircraft supporting domestic New Zealand routes connecting smaller cities and regional centers across both the North and South Islands. Air New Zealand operated the F27 extensively during the aircraft's peak service decades, valuing its reliability and suitability for New Zealand's often short and challenging regional airfields. As part of this historic fleet, ZK-BXH supported Air New Zealand's essential role in domestic New Zealand connectivity before the type's eventual replacement by more modern regional aircraft.

Fokker F27 Friendship

Designed as a pressurized, turboprop medium-range airliner, the F27 was first flown on November 24th, 1955.
