Northwest Airlink, N276MA

Limited Edition

1:200 Scale   Length   Width
Fokker F27 Friendship   4.5"   5.75"

Fokker F27-200, registered N276MA, flew for Northwest Airlink, the regional feeder brand operated by Mesaba Airlines on behalf of Northwest Airlines, connecting smaller American cities to Northwest's hub network at Minneapolis-St. Paul and Detroit. Mesaba built one of the largest Northwest Airlink operations using a mixed turboprop fleet including the F27 to serve markets too thin for Northwest's mainline jets. As part of this regional fleet, N276MA supported the Northwest Airlink brand's essential role in feeding passengers into Northwest's broader domestic and international route network during the 1980s and 1990s.

Fokker F27 Friendship

Designed as a pressurized, turboprop medium-range airliner, the F27 was first flown on November 24th, 1955.
