Boeing 707-321C, registered HZ-ACF, flew for Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) as part of the Saudi flag carrier's fleet of convertible passenger/cargo 707s supporting the airline's expanding international network during the 1970s. Saudia grew rapidly during this period as oil wealth fueled the kingdom's aviation ambitions, using the versatile 707-320C variant to support both passenger and cargo operations as needed. As part of this fleet, HZ-ACF supported Saudia's transition from a smaller regional carrier into a major international airline before the carrier's eventual transition to Boeing 747s and other widebody aircraft.

Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954.
