Airbus A321-211, registered OO-SUC, flew for Sabena, the Belgian flag carrier, as part of the airline's fleet of A321s supporting higher-capacity short and medium-haul European routes from Brussels before Sabena's dramatic November 2001 bankruptcy and collapse. Sabena, one of the world's oldest airlines tracing its roots to 1923, built a substantial Airbus narrowbody fleet spanning the A319, A320, and A321 to serve Belgium's dense European network. As part of this historic fleet, OO-SUC supported Sabena's short-haul operations during the carrier's final years before its closure led to the creation of successor airline Brussels Airlines.
