AeroClassics 1:400 Series ACQBA015
Douglas DC-8-63 Diecast Model
Quebecair, C-GQBF

Limited Edition

1:400 Scale   Length   Width
Douglas DC-8-63   5.5"   4.5"

McDonnell Douglas DC-8-63, registered C-GQBF, flew for Quebecair as part of the Canadian regional carrier's fleet of stretched DC-8s supporting longer-range and higher-capacity routes complementing the airline's shorter-haul F27 and BAC One-Eleven fleet across Quebec. Quebecair operated as one of Canada's significant regional airlines for decades before the carrier's eventual 1986 merger into Nordair and subsequent absorption into Canadian Airlines International. As part of this fleet, C-GQBF supported Quebecair's expansion into longer-range domestic and international charter operations during the airline's later operational years.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Douglas DC-8-63

Designed to compete with the Boeing 707, the DC-8 was first flown on May 30th, 1958.
